“Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest,” says the Lord in Matthew 11:28. What a great promise it is that when we get tired and down with all the struggles we face every day, there is an oasis with Jesus. No matter how heavy, no matter how small, the burdens we carry would be lightened up if we only allow our Lord to help us. We only need to make our move to get close to Him.

For certain, you are burdened with seemingly unsolvable dilemmas, responsibilities that seem to anchor you to the ground, and other circumstances that just seem to be beyond your control. Whether you lost your home to natural calamities, your belongings perished in fire, a loved one passed away, you are battling substance abuse, and many other wars against self and the world, know that in God you will find peace.
