Just as our bodies need daily vitamins to stay energized and strong, our spirits need daily nourishment from God’s Word to stay uplifted and focused. In life’s busyness and challenges, a simple reminder of His promises can bring peace and strength. Chapel of Miracles of Christ Church invites you to receive daily scripture online—here is today’s verse:
HIS LOVE FOR YOU CAN NOT BE MEASURED
John 10:11
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep”.
Not all shepherds will give their lives for their sheep. I can assume with certainty that it is impossible to find a shepherd like Our Lord Jesus Christ who will humbly, without struggle, offer his life for the lives of his loved ones in this world. But Christ died for me and you to set us free from sin and its eternal consequences. Just see how the Scripture put it in the Bible and cross. John 13:1 “It was just before the Passover Feast, Jesus knew that the time has come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love. He died for you and me. He loves you so much that He will do anything for you on this earth to stop you from going back to Satan.
John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this that one lays down his life for his friends. This love is divine, it is pure, it is unchangeable, it is eternal, and in John 15:7, He said, “If you remain in me and my word remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.” What the Lord is saying is that He will provide for your needs on this earth and the world to come if you obey his commandment. He will open the doors of opportunities, His favors, and miraculous provisions if you know him, love him, believe in him, and surrender all situations to Him, the Lord.
Matthew 12:30 He that is not with me is against me, and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
1 Peter 4:10 As every man hath received the gift, even so, minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
